Elements of Humanity

MAKE, an e-zine for hobbyists and hackers found at www.MAKEzine.com, has published a series of short videos by scientists, mathematicians, and engineers on why they love their work (ElementsofHumanity.com).  Since we as a people need to focus more and more on education, I hope you look at some or all of these videos.  The one by Dr. John Mighton isn’t the most exciting, but his focus on helping children learn math is worth a look and you may even want to checkout the charity he founded at JumpMath.org.  Also at view the video about synthetic biology from the guy who founded DYIbio.org.
