It is a great sign of movement in the right direction when you see political candidates getting together to discuss their ideas about the knowledge-based economy and its role in a state’s future. This is happening more and more around the world, and South Carolina is no exception. The primary gubernatorial candidates, Sen. Vincent Sheheen and Rep. Nikki Halley, are meeting today in an event sponsored by our friends at the GSA Technology Council, SC BIO, InnoVenture Southeast, and other SC Tech organizations.
Who knows – if some of the questions drill down to the “nano” precision level, the candidates’ answers may produce a “quantum” effect on the energy level of their supporters. More later after the forum.
